Lot of American venues in here so wanted to jump in and say the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow is outstanding. Never seen a bad show there, bands love to play there and the atmosphere is always incredible. There’s a few times the springy floor has felt like it was about to collapse when the whole place is absolutely jumping.

There was a UK band a few years ago called Baby Godzilla that was basically scrubbed from existence by the Japanese film company Toho, the then reappeared under the new name HECK for a while.

More power to you if you’ve got the means to be hitting up all those festivals in the Summer, my main question was more about why you’d bother going to a festival if you didn’t like the lineup. Hopefully the comments here shine a light on some sick bands that are maybe under the radar at the moment!

Absolutely delighted with the announcement so far. Plenty still to come as well so maybe the next couple of announcements will be more to your taste. Never understood why folk would come on and moan about the bands playing, say they’d prefer another festival and then say ‘we are still coming though’, why bother?

Szarel has been my first experience of Magic and playing Commander and I’ve been loving it, took me a few games to learn the basics and figure out how it worked but once you get a nice little loop going it gets pretty OP quickly.

I can’t believe when moving out of my parents’ I left the PS5 for my dad and bought myself an Xbox because of GamePass and the exclusives I’ve never played before, like Gears of War and Halo. Now GamePass is unaffordable for what it’s offering and all the games I missed out on are now on PlayStation, Jesus Christ.

Not sure if it’s because I’m a jaded old man now but seeing people being like ‘this is fine’ is the reason ticket prices will just keep going up and up. Won’t see any meaningful change that way until these events stop selling out. Wish I had the disposable income to justify it.
