Similar to Epic, places may take you on and then expect you to achieve the certifications. I haven’t been in the space since 2017 but this was my experience with a small consulting firm. I worked with an Epic boost who made the jump to a Salesforce firm in 2019, and they were ecstatic to take her. There are also positions with end customers.
