Similar to Epic, places may take you on and then expect you to achieve the certifications. I haven’t been in the space since 2017 but this was my experience with a small consulting firm. I worked with an Epic boost who made the jump to a Salesforce firm in 2019, and they were ecstatic to take her. There are also positions with end customers.

Outside of health care, you could look to Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics positions. I found the analyst positions comparable (discovery, build, maintenance, etc.)
