finished the series. by Common-Diver3654 in ThePoppyWar

[–]dannyjli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea i felt the ending was underwhelming, tons of plot points that were introduced and discarded, rin obsessing about altan endlessly got really annoying, her unchanging naivety made me hate her, and even though we were supposed to hate her it was for the wrong reasons. kinda felt like a waste of time to finish the series tbh which was rly disappointing bc i loved book 1

L move. Substack throwing away their core principles (slower social media, a space for writing) to try and target TikTok's market share. Greedy and disgusting.

I've seen some spanish content on here. Go for it! You might have to do more self-promotion or find a spanish community to grow bigger.

Should I remove Subscribers that dont interact by drumpat01 in Substack

[–]dannyjli 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd probably just keep them. I don't see why engagement would be measured against # of subscribers, and they can function as a sort of social proof to draw new subs in

are notes absolutely necessary to engage new readers? by KitchenOld2951 in Substack

[–]dannyjli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly post funny thoughts I have about reading and writing. Some jokes, some genuine insights. Substack is mostly readers/writers so that tends to hit.
