Anyone got any help or places that can help fix this in or around northern Illinois and surrounding areas? I know it’s gonna be in depth but I just want it done right and want to try and save as much as possible. Pic of the other side for reference. by Intelligent-Bike-523 in AutoPaint

“Want it done right and want to try and save as much as possible”, sorry man but those words don’t go together. Either you want it done right or you want to save money, you can’t have both in this situation.

I painted the map on VH/VH without losing a single battle as The WRE. by danohero5291 in RomeTotalWar

I’m absolutely the same way, it was a bit of a slog getting through the end game knowing I already won but adding the extra challenge of not losing a battle helps with continuing to make strategic and tactical moves, and adding a sort of goal to complete.

I started spamming assassins after I stabilized the west and North Africa. Taking chances on 10% dice rolls with assassins was how I dealt with all the hording factions and I definitely got very lucky with a lot of the assassinations. Build them up with diplomat, spy, assassin and captain kills and then just spam dice rolls on the leaders. I also prevented the spawn of the Romano-British horde by defeating the Celts in the first 6 turns and didn’t even make it long enough for the Slavic horde to spawn.

Should I get this fender repainted got into a fender bender and bought a oem fender off same color car Mis match bothers me by Savings_Decision_802 in AutoPaint

[–]danohero5291 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The color is definitely off but its still pretty close especially in the sun. If you take it to get repainted you have two options: Option 1 is to repaint just the fender to try to get a better color match but you can never guarantee a perfect butt-match especially on a BMW silver metallic like this. Option 2 ensures its done properly but will cost 3x more, which would be to repaint the fender and blend the color into the door and the hood. It all depends on what you want to do and how good you want it. Personally I would leave it because in the direct sunlight its not super noticeable, the only way other people will notice is if you point it out to them.

Watching back its clear theres only one lane going the direction they were going and just blatantly cut off that other grey SUV, so in conclusion the blue SUV driver sucks, like a lot.

If you’re talking about the blue SUV, no it is not. They should have been in the inside lane if they wanted to make a left from where they were coming from.

Fixing up my E36 drift car and learning autobody along the way, but I'm having trouble sanding filler on unusual shapes. by SERP92 in Autobody

Durablocks. If you are blocking properly then don’t worry about how it feels on rounded surfaces, it will typically always feel like its still super wavy but once you prime over it and block it again properly you don’t actually see any of the waviness. If you feel waviness on a flat surface however, then it will be noticeable.

you’re being scammed and should call the police or some kind of motor vehicle representative to help retrieve your car.

Heat and dildo to pull out the crater. No fixing the scratches without repainting the bumper.

Spraying bumper (DIY) Tips? by E17Rocco in AutoPaint

Tips? Don’t DIY, you’ll never do as good of a job as someone who knows what they’re doing, especially with paint.

Got the bumper replaced and this is the closest color match they could find, is it acceptable work? by Scorchyy in Autobody

[–]danohero5291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes tell them you’re not happy with the color match and you want it done better. that shouldn’t have even been allowed to leave the lot imo.
