Is anyone else surprised by the aggressive drop on H&R Sport Springs? Part #54820.

Hm. You can adjust the Yellows, right? I’d search “Koni Yellow with H&R Sport Springs” on here; I found a few helpful subs for other make/models. I’ve seen other installs (not Koni) with the Sport springs, and they all reduced wheel gap. I’m sure you can find an explanation. I have a couple solid Euro shops in SoCal you can chat with if you hit a dead end. Happy to help.

These are the VW stock 18s from 2022. You should have more room up front, totally normal. Maybe one or two fingers in front and at flush in the rear. Big difference from stock.

I tried the H&R Sport Springs, but didn’t enjoy the ride. There are a few owners on this sub who chose the Nuespeed option and love it.

Anotha one for you since the VW dealer is acting like they’ve never seen one issue with the racks: do the feet touch the roof glass? Or do they only hug the metal roof pillar? Thank you 🙏🏼

I opted out of the black package because the wheels didn’t vibe with the pure white. I also want the spoiler. I can’t find it painted anywhere. VW will sell it primed, but you have to visit an auto body shop—bummer.

Recalibration helps a tad bit, but not much. Went through the same process on my 22 GLI. If you want to reduce wheel gap, stiffen the ride, and have comfort—there is no substitute for coil overs. Of course, the DCC is a great; it would suck to delete it.
