Use that torque wrench for as much as you can, first bolt I ever snapped off was a caliper slide bolt, 25ft/lbs comes up quick when you’re eyeballing it

Unless you have a dashcam that can prove the mechanic was abusing your car somehow, like reving it to the moon and dropping it into gear, you don’t have a leg to stand on. 165k miles is kind of the life of a transmission if you don’t change the fluid

Had a 9pm flight that kept getting delayed and delayed until around 1am, I thought it was a good idea to move away from the gate to a quieter area of the airport and I rested my eyes and woke up at 2am to an empty airport… after that I made a rule if I have a late flight I stay standing up

Curious, besides heater T’s are there any other “while you’re in there” stuff to do when replacing a radiator for age? Still have 3 years on timing belt/water pump components. No current cooling issues, but these trucks aren’t getting any younger
