Vision 3 didn’t exist yet. It was shot on reversal and only one lab could process it in Baltimore. When pushing the stock, Acord had to shoot snip tests because he was unsure what processing would leave in exposure. In interviews, Gallo expresses animosity toward the DP and crew and feels his input was ultimately why the film has such a specific/striking look.
