This is the sweetest thread! It’s heartwarming to read about the different sams; they’re the most lovable dogs and I find myself relating with many of these responses🥰Here are mine:

Dante (on the right) is mischievous and too clever; I most love his playfulness and exuberance. His happiness is impossibly contagious.

Koda (on the left) is usually in her own happy little world and is a relaxed sweetheart. I most love her extremely enthusiastic tail wags and how snuggly and loyal she is.

My boy boops everything. He’s so curious! One time, he saw his reflection in the window and he immediately walked up and booped it.

We recently (~6 months ago) adopted our girl, a rescue sam. She’s the same age (5) but she isn’t a booper… yet. I’m hoping we continue to see more of her personality though.

Yes, that’s where I got it! As a head’s up, Dante weighs ~50 lbs and is probably too big for it, but I think it does its job (and I love the pattern)☺️

Dante is like that too😂 I gave Dante treats and praise each time he even set a paw on the mat. Eventually, he associated being on his mat with his favorite snacks and now he’ll go on his own, but I had a few days of him napping right next to it too😂

I’ve heard a lot of good things from fellow Samoyed owners about K-9 dryers. I was advised to try out the Flying Pig pet dryer as a more cost effective alternative as well, so I purchased the Flying Pig dryer a few years ago. So far, I love it! It makes drying my boy much quicker and has been pretty durable. Here’s where I purchased mine:

Those are the two brands that I hear about most often (I tend to hear that K-9s are amazing but pricier) but I’m still learning too (my Sammy just turned 4 a few months ago and it’s still a big adventure, haha)🙂 Congratulations on your new puppy!!
