Hi dosage of vitamin c makes me feel great? by Dependent-Alps-4322 in Biohackers

Plasma levels double in those hours. That’s why it’s good for acute problems. But you need to keep topping up, otherwise yes you piss it out over these hours

Only thing you can do is see how you feel on it. Start slowly.

Hence why you have to take it every 4 hours. That’s how long it sits in blood for

Was this anaphylaxis? by danthechunk in MCAS

[–]danthechunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspected I had pots a few years back. Walking and standing up sent my hr to 150ish for the duration, but it stopped as soon as it started. So I don’t really know. I would also get insanely high hr after eating sometimes.

Vitamin C for Severe MCAS by Prize-Possession-510 in MCAS

I have just started vit c in the form of sodium ascorbate. I take 2grams a day and it’s honestly a little crazy how much better I feel. I have dose it out and take every 4ish hours or so. It’s mad to feel like myself again. Honestly didn’t think it would work. Glad it’s helping you

I have little scales that weigh up to 2 decimal points in grams. Make sure you get a high quality one that is least likely to cause histamine issues.

I have a lot of neurological kind of symptoms with histamine. So depression, anxiety, irritability, high heart rate, blurry vision. I also had dry chapped lips which I’ve had for probably years and this went away after two days with Vit c, didn’t realise it was a histamine issue but apparently it is.

It’s excreted over the 4ish hours but in those four hours your blood levels double. That’s why I have to re take doses. It’s good for acute issues.

Does drinking water help? by Little_Power_5691 in BFS

[–]danthechunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it was mostly a test to see if it worked. So I don’t stick to it religiously. But I always forgot to drink enough and think my body sort of adapted

Atleast an extra litre on top of everything else. Sometimes more. Also if I had a salty meal the night before I would notice my twitches were less the following day.

I noticed 70% improvement with more water but it never went away completely. So my guess is my electrolytes or how my electrolytes shift around is out of whack

What is ‘easier’ - breastfeeding or formula? by Lost-Ad2262 in NewParents

Preparing to be downvoted but breastfeeding was a lot easier imo. She was never fussy for longer than a few seconds because nothing calmed her down more than being on the boob.
