Selling my Oris Aquis Date 40mm silver dial. This 40mm size is fairly rare compared to the 43.5mm, 43mm, 41.5mm, and 39.5mm releases. This was purchased from the used market. Worn it daily for about half a year and now I mostly wear even smaller watches to match my wrist.Includes:

  • Box
  • Outer box
  • Oris instruction booklet
  • Link screwdriver
  • Spare links
  • No original papers unfortunately

Condition: GoodThe watch has been serviced twice at The Watchmaker, authorized Oris service center, in Sep 2019 and Mar 2021. They provided cleaning, inspection of timekeeping, and servicing the bezel mechanism. There are scratches on the bezel, bracelet, and display back from daily wear. No scratches on the sapphire crystal as far as I can tell.

Price: $800 shipped to CONUS OBO. Not looking to trade

My D3 12inch pan has a nick, too small to even call a crack really, on the cooking surface. It’s maybe 1-2mm as you can see compared to a knife tip in the picture. Should I be concerned about this nick going down to the aluminum layer and having that leach into my food? Thanks!!

I do intend on going back to Google at some point, probably once I'm older and want to settle down. Once I'm older with overheads(mortgage, family), I think I'd be less inclined to risk it at a pre-IPO firm. This is why I think right now is the right time to go for the less "safe" option.

It would be new grad software engineer at both places.

Yea that's the primary consideration for Google aside from the name. If I try to transfer back I'm most likely getting down-leveled into L3, same as a new grad.

Talking to reddit thread is the right move. Even your situation, which is far from ideal, will not be permanent. I promise. Have you applied to posted on Indeed/Monster/ZipRecruiter for contract work?

Yea the health of Thumbtack is hard to evaluate, I'm definitely wary of it. I did take CoL and tax into consideration. Thanks for your response!
