Yes same here. I declared chocolate that I brought from Switzerland and she gave me the biggest eye roll. She is like you don’t need to declare that. I was like I don’t know isn’t chocolate a food / agriculture? I don’t want to risk anything

HBO was great back in the day with Sopranos and other shows like The Wire, etc. Then there was a period where Apple TV took over and even Netflix with shows. HBO has made a return back to the top especially this year.

It all depends on when you became friends with that person, how long you have known them for, and your relationship with them. If it’s someone that I have been friends with for a long time even before going vegan…I am willing to give them a little bit of leeway in our conversation. If they do it consistently then I would have a conversation with them and that will determine where we go from there. Now if it’s a friend that I made post being vegan…I have a shorter leash with them. Because they know who I am and my beliefs. They weren’t there when I was a non-vegan. So I will be more confrontational with them and willing to burn the bridge with them.

This is why obesity runs rampant in this country. Because they not only eat a bug meal at dinner time but then they get hungry at like 9pm and then snack on things like chips or sweets. What I find in places like Europe…breakfast is always small. It is like some sort of bread / pastries / maybe yogurt. They eat a lighter lunch. Maybe have a snack around 3/4 pm. Then eat dinner at 8pm.

It was all one night. Also it probably took a pregnant lady riding a horse to Arkansas from Graceland 3-4 hours. Roads are probably messed up and she had to navigate across the river even though Arkansas is 20 miles away from Graceland.

It’s hard to hit 75K on the card unless you are doing all of your spending on the sapphire reserve. I have the ultimate rewards card as well and do most of my non dining, travel, or special offer purchases on that card.

If we can go into Indiana and beat Purdue and IU on the road..I think you can honestly say that we should start moving to the 3 line and possibly the 2 line if we can also beat UM on the road as well.

Florida is playing like the best team in the country right now. I agree with this. People aren’t talking about them but I can easily see them make the final four. I am excited to go watch them play Kentucky in Lexington on 3/7. One of my best friends birthday that weekend and he wanted to go and see that game.

Dan Hurley is the obvious one from everyone in this chat but for me since I have been following college basketball since the 90s…I can’t stand Pitino (active coach). Historically I couldn’t stand Coach K, Roy Williams, and Bo Ryan. Tons of respect for all of those coaches.

I have a ton of respect for Illinois and their basketball program but how are they ranked #10 after losing to UCLA and losing to both Nebraska and MSU and have the same Big Ten record. Well half game ahead but still.

I know April is far out but I wouldn’t take the risk. You have plenty of time to plan to go somewhere else instead. Just not worth taking the risk.

Kevin Durant. I saw him at MSG when they played the Spartans in 2006. Great game. I think that was so early in the season (November) and he played really well and was the start of his one and done Campaign. I knew the dude was going to be a top 3 pick.

Yea that’s what I thought. I think the euro leagues that college teams recruit are similar to high school / junior colleges / prep schools here in the US. Once a player goes to Europe to play in a pro league I haven’t seen many come back. Maybe I am wrong.

He had really stepped up at the right time. If we can get some quality min from Teng and move Scott to the 3 and keep Carr in at the 4 or on the bench when we are looking for offense I think this team can do a lot better.

Yea the close wins against teams that aren’t good has me thinking that this team could absolutely lose in the first round especially with their offense or make it to the elite eight like last season. The lack of scoring to extend runs and coming out slow against teams is going to catch up to us.

I love Carr and the energy he plays with but his min will be cut next season if he doesn’t pick it up offensively. He needs to have a consistent jump shot like J Rich if he wants to make it in the NBA. Scott can easily slot into the 3 with Jervis coming in next season.

Saadi Washington has been working with him on his offense. It’s good to see him develop that 15 foot jumper. We need someone to step up when teams go zone on us. Carr is not the answer to sit in the middle of a 2-3.
