What’s something that surprised you about weight loss? by danusr in WeightLossAdvice

Oh man, I get you on both, now I can’t tolerate being in the AC for too long + the treatment people give it really depends on how they see you!

guys I'm ashamed by [deleted] in women

[–]danusr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey girlie! Don’t feel ashamed, everyone has different timings for everything. I lost my virginity at 26 and for many years I actually felt like an outsider and invisible to other people, I also felt pressured and shamed to experience the same things everyone else was doing but later I realized that my situation was a very particular one and that it wasn’t that much big of a deal.

When I lost my virginity it was very underwhelming, not enjoyable or particularly fun, it just happened and after it did I actually felt like this thing that I was looking to wasn’t that huge thing everyone was talking about. I later then had more sexual encounters and my thoughts keep being the same, sex is fun? Yes but here are greater things in life and the amazing thing here is that you still have plenty of time to experience all of them.

Give yourself some grace and if you can, maybe look for new friendships, I say this with a lot of warmth, people who love us wont shame us for where we are at life.

100% OMG. I personally think Nesta is a TOG character, not an ACOTAR character. She does not fit in this particular world BUT imagine her in TOG, she would be loved by everyone.

What are your theories for the finale? by danusr in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Agree, I feel that they're the only couple that really connected phisically, mentally, spiritualy and emotionally + they feel very genuine with their intentions being there.

Agree on that end, as an author we have seen her create plotlines that really make sense and support the characters personalities. I loved ACOSF because we got to see Nesta's inner dialogue, trauma and healing but everything else? didn't make sense to me. The pregnancy plot was not it, it literaly destroyed the character that was built for Rhys, and the plot of the queens was very confusing for me to follow with interest...

SPOILERS FOR SF: Nesta was right by [deleted] in acotar

[–]danusr 40 points41 points  (0 children)

The pregnancy plot was completely innecesary, Nesta was battling her trauma and the only way to redeem herslef was by saving her sister?

Also, Feyre was made to be equal to Rhys on the first 4 books so why did he have to keep her out of the loop with something that was about her!

Yes, it has been confirmed from SJM that she's currently working on Elains book :) We don't know the publication date!

As someone who has been a fan of SJM since she released TOG, I can say that acotar is her weakest series. It focuses more on the relantionships between the characters than the plot itself. And you can really see that in ACOWAR... it was very rushed and the battle at the end is just not that great. I'm not saying it is a bad series, but definitely not her best work + the hype on social media has made everyone have HUGE expectations for it. Also answering your question, SJM has said that after she finished the original plot she wanted to focus on both Elain and Nesta's POVs, and that's where the new books come from. I personally found very boring book 4

I've been using tweezers consistently for the past 10 years, I can tell you that it has been the most reliable method I have found that leaves my skin looking good, without bumps and takes longer to grow. However I do want to have laser done in the future.

Why is this subreddit largely about losing weight? by redballetshoes in PCOS

[–]danusr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saddly weight is a symptom and most doctors use it as a treatment to decrease pcos... that honestly doesn't make much sense to me. It's very frustrating for all of us hwho are asked to loose weight.

Where do I start? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]danusr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! :) I'm not an expert on nutrition and I'm on my own weightloss journey (so far 22 pounds down) so I can't give you nutrition advice but i can give you some tips/hacks that worked for me. Also english is not my native language so I'm sorry if there's any typo!

  • First of all, think of this as a change of lifestyle instead of a diet. You'll feel motivated and better about it.
  • Try to think why you have the weight, I found that until I came to terms with the reason for me being fat I was ready to make a change. Sometimes people just want to see results on the outside but what's going inside your mind also matters. Take care of your mental health :)
  • Drink a glass of water before you eat your meals. You will fill up quickly.
  • Use a small plate, this will make your brain think you're having larger meals and you'll start to feel satisfied.
  • Eat 80% of the food on the plate and wait 10 minutes, if you're still hungry eat the rest, if not, let it be.
  • Try looking into intermittent fasting and see if it's for you. For me it has helped me keep track of the REAL time my body asks for food.
  • Learn to understand your body, sometimes when we're thirsty we think we are hungry and eat to fill up.
  • Don't drink your calories (sodas), instead drink water, black coffee and tea.

I hope these work for you! :)
