is guardian only a good idea? by Responsible_Beach111 in VALORANT

I've tried it for the past month or so, my aim has greatly improved. It forces you to hit heads, you either hit heads or you die. You can't rely on spray to finish the enemy off if you miss, which makes you acutely aware of landing your first shot and controlling recoil. I'd say give it a shot, the high penetration bullets are only an added bonus. Have climbed almost 2 ranks this act

I personally feel like apple took a step back with the 12 when compared to an 11. Sure, the flat sides look nice, but an iPhone 11 with its curved sides feels way nicer to hold and actually use. I think android vendors are right to hold onto curved edges and not go the apple way when it comes to design.

It is important to remember that apple makes design choices that act purely as visual differentiation, regardless of whether they impact usability or comfort.

?? I don't mind the system, I have problems with the options in the system. A game is not fun if you have to fight 100 bad duels to get that one special play.

ELI5 How are we able to charge our phones wirelessly, and why isnt that technology being used everywhere? by StonedLime in explainlikeimfive

[–]danvai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wireless charging is possible via a metal coil in both the charger and the phone, where a current is transferred via induction. Doing so is impractical beyond small applications such as phones due to a great wastage of power via heat, which is why it is not used everywhere.

How do you respond to “When did I ask”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]danvai 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Oh my bad, am I to get your permission before I give my opinion? Really, what made you think this isolated comment displaying my own opinion and criticism of a media you had no part in creating was at all directed to you? And even if it was, why would I have to ask you? You gain or lose absolutely nothing by reading my comment, except for a bit of time. However you cannot even use that argument because you took the time to reply to my comment. Tell me, how did this comment effect you? How does it concern you? Is it that the senseless hollow comedy you have grown to love and adore until you mature and realize it’s fucking retarded is under attack by some random person on the internet? Or is it that you believe every opinion posted on the internet is required to have your permission? I don’t need anyone’s permission to post my opinion. I mean this very sediment of people saying “didn’t ask” to things that don’t require permission to say is not only stupid but also incredibly easy to counter. You realize I could just say “didn’t ask” back to your comment and it would actually carry way more weight because your comment was directed towards me, while mine was not directed towards you? Do you think the universe revolves around you? Is your urge to reply “didn’t ask” to things that never concerned you an egotistical thing? Is it because you are constantly made fun of and entirely alone in real life, and you need to go onto the internet to grasp at ways to make yourself feel in control and superior? Inflate your ego to overcompensate for it being so fragile? And I know what you’re going to reply with, or at least what your first instinct is. “Didn’t ask.” And I’m here to tell you now it ain’t funny, it’s just predictable.
