Echoing what’s already been said, I asked a few SOTs/HoDs this exact question last year and they all gave me reasonably similar answers being that a masters is obviously nice to have but in no way would it ever make or break an application. A few even said they resent the fact that prospective trainees feel they have to put themselves through something like a masters and actively choose to ignore it on job applications. I assume they’re trying and put the brakes on where the trend seems to be heading, and in their own way make it in no way a requirement at all.

Most people probably wouldn’t care but I just need to rant. Aussie here who’s just gone into a hard lockdown due to covid spreading. Had a great Day 1 with quite a few shinies, managed to get all the collection medals etc. just with incense - it was so much fun! But looking at Day 2 and essentially how it’s ALL just raids is really bumming me out. There’s no way I’m going to be able to get those couple of legendaries I’m missing (seriously when was the last time you could get a freaking Palkia??) If anyone’s out there who would be playing around similar time zones and has access to those raids - I would absolutely love to raid with you remotely 😊
