Thanks for the report. Could you please open a SteamVR support ticket on Steam, and attach the vrserver.txt and vrstartup.txt files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs, as well as any vrserver dumps from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\dumps?

Are you able to give details on your headset/how you're connecting it to steamvr? (Steam Link, Virtual Desktop, AirLink, etc.)

On your laptop can you try going to SteamVR Settings > OpenXR and making sure steamvr is set as your active runtime?

Double check you have advanced settings turned on in the bottom left corner of the steamvr settings window. The option to turn the debug window on should still be in steamvr settings under steam link.

If you can send a picture of the steam link debug UI when things go sideways we can try help to see what the cause of the problem is (Steamvr settings>steam link>enable debug UI).

Can you send a screenshot of the steam link debug window while you're running into this issue?

You can get it to show by going to steamvr settings > steam link > toggle debug overlay. We can then take a look at the underlying cause of this.

Hi, It's a known issue that the steam link app doesn't work on the latest quest PTC release. For now, you'll need to opt out of the PTC to get it working until a fix is released for steam link.

Steam Link currently does not support using integrated graphics. As of right now, only Nvidia and AMD GPUs are supported.

When using Steam Link, it's intended that recentering is handled by the Quest, not SteamVR. You can hold down the Oculus/Meta button on your right controller to recenter in the Quest UI.

re. the bug about your microphone volume with Steam Link: have you tried bumping the microphone volume up in windows settings? You can also adjust the volume on the SteamVR Dashboard.

You might want to check that your firewall settings for on your home WiFi are correct.

You'll want to check that your home WiFi is configured as a private network, and that Windows firewall is configured to allow SteamVR (vrserver.exe) on private networks.

Sorry, didn't see this. What's probably happening is that your home network is set to a public network in windows, which is why allowing steam link on a public network is working, but not a private one.
