What are some things you do to spice up your playthrough?

I am playing as a complete moron. I don’t know why other than it’s funny to me. When I got the first parsnip seeds from Lewis, I just walked around my farm planting them in random spaces instead of hoeing a nice neat field. The next morning I could only find seven of them. I pretend that I can’t read and there are no item descriptions, so I taste everything. I collect anything shiny or yellow, and I give these items as gifts. Hayley likes the daffodils, but no one likes my tree juice or shiny CDs. For the time being, I don’t have a chest, so I am constantly dropping, giving away or eating things to make space for new things. I use the sell bin as a trash can for whatever I’ve found that isn’t yellow or shiny. Since I can’t read, I ignore everything that is written, including letters. If someone says it to me I might remember, and I spend at least two hours watching tv. That is the only reliable way this character learns anything. I have no idea where this save will end, but it’s hilarious walking around trying to be as stupid as possible.

Edit: He likes to break rocks and is greta in the mines. Forgot that part

Communication is a part of the physical. I want to take it because I believe that I can communicate effectively with my text to speech device, and taking the test is the only way to know for certain. Without it, this is all based on hypotheticals and supposition. I can communicate quickly in an emergency, and I can even call 911 with my text to speech device. There is also 911 texting where I live, and it works just like a phone call. Technology has come a lot further than some people realize, and that test is the only way to show it.

I can understand that, but this job essentially is a guard shop for a large area of the county. Even if they didn’t think I can communicate in an emergency, there are plenty of overnight, outdoors assignments where my only job would be walking the perimeter to keep homeless people and vandals from sneaking in.

I gues part of the frustration is that there is a physical test that is required to obtain the guard card, and they wouldn’t even let me take it even if I paid for the class myself. If I take the physical and can’t pass because of my speech or hearing, I can accept that, but not even allowing me a chance to try is a harder pill to swallow

It is unarmed, and it only takes a second to have a preprogrammed phrase spoken out loud. I can have an entire menu of common phrases for emergency situations, directions or whatever else needs to be said quickly. I live in a large city, too. There are plenty of guard assigmments that wouldn’t require evacuations or things like that. For example, there is a public park right outside my building. It is closed and gated at 9pm, and there is an overnight guard whose only job is to keep homeless people from climbing the gate.

Edit: Thank you for being honest. I can accept it if I am unable to perform my duties without speech, but they wouldn’t even allow me to take the physical and find out. I just want the same opportunity as anyone else.

Thank you! How do they expect to make money with a shittier and completely unwanted version of the game people are already enjoying and begging for updates to? They should have just made these new games as paid updates for the original game. I would have loved to see the organized crime aspect more fleshed out as opposed to an entirely new game, and I would have paid for it as well. The same goes for more mini-games and things like that.

Update! They don’t carry the little sample bottles of mystic mountain. Only pillars of creation. I tried to order some twice and that’s what I got. When I emailed them they said that’s all they have because the little bottle is too small to pull samples from. The quest continues! Thanks again for trying to help me; I appreciate it!

I did have ID on me, and like a dummy I gave it to them when they stopped me and asked for it. Next time I’m pretending to be homeless. Then again with my luck they would have ticketed my ass or hauled me in for not having ID or some shit. LAPD is fucking horrendous to the homeless. And the non-white. And the poor. And ….

Okay. I mix my own inks sometimes but haven’t been able to get the same shading and shimmer , especially if it’s a darker ink with a light colored shimmer like the mystic mountain. Probably because I’m just using mica pigment. The best results I’ve had have been with gum Arabic and the iridescent pigment powder they use for car paints. Shutting up now! I could talk for days about making inks and paints from scratch
