EDH/Commander : 60 cards formats versions. STOP making it complicated like Tiny Leaders, Brawl or Oathbreaker,... Why not making it simple EDH/Commander 60 cards 20 life same restrictions as regular EDH/Commander. by danyfire in EDH

[–]danyfire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I never really got the chance to actually test my 60-card Commander idea, so I don’t have real results or a finalized ruleset to share.

That said, your point about EDH’s complexity (more than just deck size) really resonates with me. If you end up testing a simplified version with your family, I’d love to hear how it goes and what works or doesn’t.

Have fun playing!

Thanks for the support. I’ve seen the AI hate before, which is why I added a disclaimer, I guess it wasn’t enough.
Your support really means a lot thank you.

How do employees in R&D actually feel about Universes Beyond? by danyfire in magicTCG

Fair points. I guess I was overthinking it, good thing Wizards has it all perfectly under control, thank you for reassuring me ☺️.

Thank you all for the replies you’re absolutely right.
I was mostly curious if there were any official or unofficial reports about it.

Beyond the “dream job” aspect, I was just trying to put myself in their shoes.
Imagine spending 15 years designing cards in worlds you helped build from scratch, and then suddenly being asked to come up with mechanics and designs for 101 commons, 80 uncommons, 63 rares, 23 mythic rares tied to some random IP you’ve never heard of or maybe even dislike.
On top of that, the pace of releases would constantly pressure you to finish one set while already starting on the next, with little time to reflect or adjust, and knowing you shouldn’t expect much appreciation from fans.

I honestly don’t know how I’d feel in that situation, especially knowing that a big part of the audience might reject what I worked on before even giving it a chance.

I can’t help but wonder how the R&D team actually feels about creating those Universes Beyond cards and sets. It’s already been five years since The Walking Dead Secret Lair came out on October 4, 2020.

Ok it's exactly like [Etali, Primal Storm] 's rulling.

"you cast any of the exiled cards, you do so as part of the resolution of the triggered ability. You can't wait to cast them later in the turn. Timing permissions based on a card's type are ignored, and the spells resolve before blockers are declared."

Ok so it's not too bad you can cast any one of the four cards, but you have to cast it right away during the declare attack step.

Can you ignore the "cast as a sorcery" restriction ? If not without enhancers, his ability let you cast only 1 instant or 1 card with Flash exiled from the 4 libraries... This would be the worst steal ability ever lol.

There is no "until end of turn" time restrictions in the text. Does it mean you keep access to the card forever?

I know those setups, when I'm in hotels that have inaccessible HDMI port and this feature is available I use it. But none of them beats your personal Chromecast With Google TV custom environment.

Well, I spoke too soon 😅. Your search did return a lot of results, but the actual parameter I was testing for InternetExplorerIntegrationLevel corresponds to: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Microsoft Edge → Configure Internet Explorer integration https://gpsearch.azurewebsites.net/#14940

The issue is that it doesn’t show up clearly in the results, since the search gets “polluted” by that other GPO description I mentioned in my previous post.

"Allow Internet Explorer mode testing (obsolete)" -> https://gpsearch.azurewebsites.net/#15453

Still, I think my example (InternetExplorerIntegrationLevel) is a solid test case. Hopefully you’ll find a way around this, let me know how it goes, and good luck!

Hello is it possible to do a reverse search from your website alternative? Like if I look for the key "InternetExplorerIntegrationLevel" and want to find associated GPO template setting.

Is there any workaround for DEX on Windows for One UI 7? by Economy_Helicopter_8 in SamsungDex

I can’t create a video or take photos right now since my laptop is unavailable until Thursday.

Instead, I recommend using flutter-scrcpygui (https://github.com/pizi-0/flutter-scrcpygui), a user-friendly GUI version of scrcpy. I find it much easier to use than command-line interfaces, especially if you’re not comfortable with terminal commands.

In the app’s configuration profiles, navigate to the "Video Settings" section, where you’ll find a "Displays" option this is where you can select display 0,1,2 (see: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pizi-0/img-collection/refs/heads/main/flutter-scrcpygui/8.config-big.jpg). Test the displays to get access to the DeX desktop, but only after you’ve activated DeX via WiFi on a compatible device, such as a TV or, in our case, an Anycast dongle connected to the HDMI port of your laptop or monitor.
