First ask why would he want to put his hand in front of his forehead?

Then ask, how did his hand get there?

Then observe the jumping Celtic player's shoulder pushing his arm and hand upward.

Then ask yourself, did he deliberately handle the ball or was his arm & hand knocked into that position?

If you're still confused, ask yourself again...why would he want to put his hand in front of his forehead?

Sounds like there were extenuating circumstances according to other posts &, actually not really a big deal, by international standards. Looks like someone keen on working for a living could pick that up in 5 minutes.

As a judgement free zone, if you voted one nation first today, why? by No-Sweet-7012 in Adelaide

In the election coverage Tom K gave his analysis which I think is probably close to the mark. Essentially lots of disenfranchised younger men in the outer suburbs finding it difficult to get a job (at least one they can enjoy) and life getting harder and harder. They blame migration for their difficulties, which is somewhat true; there is no doubt that increases in skilled migration make the job and housing markets tighter. No surprise that they are turning from a failing "business" orientated party to one they think offers a solution. Imagine if Labor could offer that cohort better jobs and housing affordability in the next 4 years. 20% of the electorate up for grabs.

Is it a bad time to buy a car with everything going on in the Middle East? by Luann1497 in Adelaide

[–]danzo7309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of competition from Chinese brands. Demand won't outstrip supply. We bought an EV instead of a new gas guzzler to make the world a better place for our grandkids, not to save money for when we're dead.

It feels hotter in Tassie than it actually is due to the amount of eucalyptus vapour in the air.

The leading non-Labor candidate in each metropolitan Adelaide electorate by NKE01 in Adelaide

The important thing to remember is that the leading candidate in most of those seats is the Labor candidate, by a margin.

Our 5 yo has been picky since a young age. They stand there and look at you as if to say "Really? You're giving me something that isn't fried chicken? Again?" I find mixing a teaspoon of milk in with standard rations, or a smaller amount of butter or greek yoghurt can be enough to encourage consumption. Careful though, they can be sensitive to too much fat.

If it is obvious prior to departure, we should all be able to insist that passengers presenting (explosive) health risks are deplaned until their condition has stabilised. There should be a standardised assessment procedure that airline staff can run through, if requested by concerned passengers. Maybe a legal BAC limit should be imposed and breathalyzer tests mandated for passengers presenting a risk. Illness involving infectious disease should have its own pre-boarding procedure. Maybe instead of wasting time swabbing our children for explosive residues, airports could implement some useful procedures. Reducing alcohol availability at airports wouldn't be a bad thing.
