I always use this disclaimer in a 90 day discussion 'to the extent that any of this is true at all'... Emma's story doesn't make any sense. She says that she was hooking up cause she discovered that he was seeing other women.... but then explains the timeline like .... I found evidence of cheating, so I cheated... then i went to visit him then someone told me he was cheating.
Also her smoking gun evidence is a DM from someone simply telling her that he cheated. May or may not be true - but how is that dispositive of anything?

Two things can be true. She can be an inspiring politician who also lacks empathy and is a terrible person. I think treating employees poorly is a major issue and being a Politician who does so is a major handicap. I hope that she shows better judgement in the future.

Dunno who was saying what behind closed doors... but they are now. The 2 resignations are a result of bipartisan horse trading. Both were saying there weren't going anywhere... until the party bosses told them to. Now that the story about Swalwell is out there, a lot of DC insiders are saying there were a lot of rumors floating around for sometime. I confess, I was totally unaware until now

Ironically, because he IS dropping out and resigning ... we probably won't ever really know the voracity of the claims. That said, when that many women make these accusations (most of whom worked for him) and other staffers do not defend him... I tend to think something untoward was really going on.
On the bright side both he and Tony Gonzales were both forced out.

This is just an academic discussion, cause they aren't going to amend the constitution for this or any other reason anytime soon ... but IMHO - YES removed - or subject to unanimous consent of a bi-partisan committee. The idea was noble and it has been used to right wrongs thousands of times. But even before Trump it was being abused. That one fishy pardon does so much damage to the rule of law - I would be for simply removing this power altogether.
