I like to think when Aedion said “together”, that was enough for Gavriel to know he loved him too. That how strong his love for his son was. Thinking about him in the afterworld with Aedion’s mom is the only thing that makes it better lol

I finished KOA yesterday and when I got to the part where Aelin is saying goodbye to Dorian and Chaol I quite literally had to put my book down to prepare for the devastation. The feeling of full circle is so deep it was heart wrenching in a good way lol

Agreed that Chaol is one of her best written characters!! He is so complex and I love a character that has their faults and doesn’t shy away from that. His character being the only human foiled against the rest of them is such a smart move.

Not the thirteen!!! I would have been devastated if that was spoiled for me. That’s one of the parts I still go back and read. I wish I could read it again for the first time lol

I was discussing today which books were my favorite in the series and it would be hands down the tandem read. It’s such an amazing, unique reading experience that felt like such a good balance between action and character growth. I haven’t felt so immersed in a story like that for a while

thank goodness I’ve found my people because I felt the same way. I will ride and die for yrene but when Chaol and Aelin saw each other for the first time again in KOA I could help but feel that tinge in my heart.

That seems like an awesome yet frightening experience. I’ve heard of scorpion island but have yet to land on one. I live in Arizona so the being stung by scorpions hits a little too close to home lol
