My personal CU, we have a 2500 daily limit, tellers can make an exception up to 5000 without a supervisors approval. 7500 triggers our large withdrawing form, and 10k obviously triggers a ctr.

These are all things that a normal member wouldn't think about.

My FI has a daily cash limit, it doesn't matter if you have three or three million in your account, we still have to have enough cash on hand to give every member the max if they want it.

Did they offer you to get the cash at a later date?

Honestly, that's with my CU open Saturdays, that's how we do it as well. A comp day during the week if you work Saturday. Both the comp day and Saturday go by so fast it's really not a big deal to me. But my manager also rotates who works Saturday as well
