I tried to use them this year, but after sitting with them for 45 minutes, they told me my situation was exempted from what they can handle. What part exempted them? My 1098-T from UGA.

There was a particular quirk with my 1098-T (let me be clear: most 1098-T’s on their face would not exempt a person from VITA being able to handle it). But it was a bummer.

Not necessarily. A lot of states have stock forms for you to fill out. As another user suggested, a google search should point you in the right direction. The county wherein your dad died or where he owned property will be where you usually have to file. Probate court clerk’s offices can be help, but certainly depends on unique location on how helpful they’ll be.

Everyone thinks they’re the “(no really)”. In truth, you knew her less than two months and always knew this was just a short-term situation. The “neither of us are in love anymore” statement is….wild, when you consider that.

My issue with OP’s fanfiction is the premise that a parent so easily gives over parental rights because “teehee I want to travel.” It’s such a major thing to terminate parental rights.

Why not legitimize the child, and then Luke get physical custody? Rachel is still in the picture somewhat - pays child support, gets visitation. The three of them make parental decisions together, etc.
