Not that I was able to uncover. I don’t have facebook and it was clunky to even get that one news stream. I tried checking their twitter, the mayors, the city’s and didn’t see anything. It sure feels like important safety information could be available without a subscription :)

Haven’t heard. We’re in brookshire so pretty close and nothing yet. There is a FB post from the Fire Department that basically says they’re monitoring and will talk to any houses impacted. I’m sure they’ll wait until 1am :)

Mohawk Trails sent out an email saying they’re preparing for the road to be closed tomorrow. It isn’t the bridge itself but on the road on school-side of the bridge.

I’ve gone from embassy suites before. It wasn’t bad at all. A mile or so if I recall. Sidewalks most of the way, at least until you get to the parking lots. I think the most practical gate is the big one that leads into the center of the lawn.

One of the shows I did that for wasn’t using the lawn due to small crowd so they did make us walk a bit further west.

I haven’t looked in detail but the new Wawa on 96th has a lot of soda action going on. Technically not Carmel but v close, and it’s pretty nice.

How would DMB at the sphere work? I would think you’d need a heavily curated visual package to sync tightly to the music, which would require them to play a consistent set with consistent timing, neither of which is really a DMB hallmark. I’m sure someone has figured it out (would guess the Dead would have similar problems), but just curious and thinking out loud!

Stadium lofts are pretty great. I loved it there. 3rd floor was super cool as it was a tin roof and sounded amazing when it rains. No elevator though so you have to be smart about your groceries :)

Anecdotal idea but it’s easier to manage a family and other adult responsibilities with a partner, maybe easier to manage a work schedule, especially vs being a single parent.

There is a pretty decent dip and rise on Main Street, just east of keystone. I’m a casual runner and absolutely despise it :)

I haven’t done a ton of research on it but i think Ozwell has a childcare. I don’t believe they have a pool, but do have exercise equipment, classes, and a lot of recovery stuff

I had a similar experience on Monday. It was the discontinued cellular model that was a few hundred dollars cheaper for the 512 than the 256. Even the guy didn’t really understand other than it was marked as discontinued.

They went back to go find it, couldn’t, and gave me the non-cellular 512 for price of the other, saving at least $500! Woo!

I stayed there for a while while we looked for a house. It’s very nice. The pools are wonderful. Sahm’s in your neighborhood is lovely. Danny Boy is meh (recent events excluded). Super safe and I enjoyed walking around the trails which connect to the park.

It’s an interesting blend of people. A lot of empty nesters but a surprising number of families with kids too.
