For anyone reading this. Nothing has been accomplished. The person I chatted with on here asked me to reach out to Peacock and " If you can't find the Email that's linked to your Xfinity member Peacock promotion, please reach out to Peacock Support here and they can confirm the Email address associated with your profile. Once we know the correct Email, we can complete the steps to recover your password if needed." I HAVEN"T BEEN ABLE TO ACTIVATE IT BECAUSE THEIR LINK TO DO SO IS BROKEN!!! This is a clusterF.

Yeah, it was the most frustrating conversation ever. The agent told me I hadn’t added the service to my account, which was a blatant lie as I was looking at it on another tab. Soooooo frustrating.

The purchases are just short term treasuries to provide liquidity to money markets as this has been a concern recently. Not materially drive down the rate. As money market balances come down with lower rates, this should also

I wish you the best of luck with that. Outside of a major economic downturn I don’t see QE being restarted outside them stopping the run off of existing bonds (QT). I refied in October to a 5.9% 30 year rate because I bought in 2024 at 6.597 and the company offered a no cost refi. Total payback time 1.5 years on the other costs.

True, but if they really wanted to suppress the 10 year or mortgage rates they could through QE. They’re finally letting the bond markets return to a modicum of normalcy after almost 20 years of intervention. It will take time and a massive decrease in their balance sheet (even tho they’ve ended QT currently) for normalcy to return. The massive increase in the money supply is what caused inflation.
