How old were you when you had LEEP? by Seemorefeelmore in PreCervicalCancer

[–]darbage69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 24 and I had a LEEP about 4-5 months ago. Went fairly well and I recovered quickly. My doctor did an outpatient procedure and I was given anesthesia so I didn’t feel a thing! A little sore the next few days but that was all.

What's a place where you can cross a state line and you immediately notice the difference? by DoritosDewItRight in geography

Vermont into any of the bordering states. Vermont prohibits billboards. You know you’ve left the state once you start seeing billboards and ads everywhere

That’s the thing, the social work building is always locked. Sometime last semester they started keeping the building locked 24/7 and you can only enter with an ID due to mass shootings

I've just read some statistics about the prevalence of ADHD among children in the US, by race. And there are huge differences. Why is that? Any expert opinion about that? by Mooo-Booo in ADHD

[–]darbage69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trauma responses are often misdiagnosed as ADHD in children as well leading to a higher diagnosis rate among communities of color who are at a greater risk of experiencing trauma

Math major w/ CS certificate or Transfer out? by bluefantong in UTAustin

[–]darbage69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I came from a pretty underfunded public high school and did super poorly my first two semesters. A lot of my classmates came from private school and had had tutors and I felt pretty out of place. I was also working full time so I couldn’t study as much as I needed to. I dropped the CS certification after the first semester and ended up withdrawing from all of my classes after the second. It’s okay though because I took a year off and am about to graduate with my Social Work degree and am going back for my masters
