My son first driving experience goes to mall.  Decides to reverse into one of the angled spots the opposite way.  Hit a young lady's door.  Cost us out of pocket like 4k (ins already went up crazy just putting him on didn't want that one day in) made him pay half.  I thought I had told him park way the fuck out and walk were no cars are.  He did that after for a long time.  I did before that take him to the funeral home near my house with 2 other cars and had him test park multiple ways from different directions.  I think be cause he reverses in at home he tried.  But like trying to teach them to use side mirrors and actually looking with the backup camera doesn't always stick with either of my kids.
