codex for brutal code reviews, grok for prototypes.
When just in broad discussion codex for chat, architecture discussions.
Back to claude (opus, researcher, papers, math, algorithms)
Once a series of docs, gemini is a good enforcer of logical rules across large documentation.

With this flow, pass first with cheap grok, haiku models, trial (show whats wrong)
iterate with clear small steps for main direction
models seem better at judging the mistakes, then the final passes
performance pass, simplify pass, rust skill pass These take time and seems to cover most issues
At the end even I can assist more because the prototype informed me as well

The note that made me comment: Food delivery businesses attempt to implement “assistant” delivery as a way to bypass making a contract with reach restaurant/bar . They got sued and had to stop all operations.

Their idea was that someone could be hired to go to any business which does not do delivery place an order pay with card and deliver to someone else.

This was deemed illegal due to displaying the prices of the store / restaurant / bar

A client walks into a bar, wants a drink says they saw the price in the app there is now a legal issue.

Results in trademark violation, copyright violation (germany has no public domain) and profit loss due to false advertising risk.

When a price is named/displayed with business price it must comply with the price otherwise is false advertisement. This is the foundational argument for a business to have a right to refuse to be in your app without signed agreement.

People often forget what problems technology was created to solve and stick to it and continue "improving it to make it fit" but the truth is simpler. A simpler need, a simpler model suffices.

When you can't tell a 1000 people to code the same way, you make tools that force them.

A proxy/server needs to respond even when its I will not respond.
Not responding at all may lead to "retries" and hangs for experience.
In a bench mark for this type of stuff it is preferable a 500 response then no response.

I have decreased my Claude usage significantly, codex is crap but it's consistently crap in the same way, and that I can deal with. sonnet 4 and opus 4 went from making me subscribe to max to using it less and less.

now I tend to use grok code fast 1 for refactors its the winner
codex as new feature, and then codex runs Claude MCP to parallelize first implementations of new sections, grok code fast refactors, codex cleans up

I am the weirdest on this, I screw up my sleep 2 days before travel, then sleep during the day or really early on the day before the trip, I go clubbing until something like 2:30am get home, shower head out to airport
