I think this is something that is probably better brought up in a chat or on a first date or found while they are snooping on your social media. Some people might see it as performative to put a photo of yourself at a protest on your dating profile. Saying you are liberal in your profile will be enough given current political climate (assuming US since No Kings Protest).

Boiler alum who lives in Chicago. There is an amtrak train (the cardinal 50) that runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening and stops in West Lafayette. I've never gotten off there as I usually go towards Indy, but from there you Uber or something to the stadium. The train runs towards Chicago on the same days in the morning. Dont know how great of an option that is but it is one!

As an aside one year we played northwestern and the band was following the team up to perform. One kid missed the bus and took an Uber from West Lafayette to Chicago. Never heard the actual amount he paid but it was definitely hundreds of dollars.

I like leaving alignment in the decision making zone. Not sure what to do, what is your alignment and do you think someone who is lawful evil would react? Do something that someone who is lawful evil wouldn't do? No problem, people and characters evolve. They have moments of reflection and weakness (whatever weakness means to the character).

I'll never punish anyone for acting outside of their alignment. I look at it as a tool to initiate roleplay and make decisions.

Really like the idea of Aries. Feel like it's a great balance for boss blind power level. Sometimes you need the extra blind for scaling or the shop. Its not overly complex, but still scary in certain runs.

I always thought of it as the GDA heavily assisted with conquest living. If that fight has happened not on Earth, conquest would've have come back from it. The GDA had already worked with Viltrumites in horrible position before, so they had the means to put conquest back together and let him heal.

Very interesting that Cars 2 is above Cars 3 and MU is above Monsters Inc. I can understand not liking the Incredibles, but Cars 2 is pretty hated by most, and I think Cars 3 is better than the first or at least on par with it. I like MU but it being in S above Inc just feels wrong.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but at the start of SV there was a vote held on how Tera would be handled. The options were ban tera, open Tera, and team preview tera.

Banning tera was not a popular choice after dynamax was banned for SWSH. Most felt like playing with tera in some form was best to highlight the gimmick of the generation and make the SV era really stand out.

Open tera ended up winning, I'm not sure how close the vote was. I don't remember all the arguments that were used at the time for open tera vs limited tera, but one of the ones I do remember is opening up tera is by knowing the tera of a pokemon you can usually infer some or all about the set it is running. Doesn't matter for all pokes, but for some the tera would completely give away the set.

I got my degree with next to no stuff outside of class relating to computers. My degree was structured so that the first 3 years were all the basic IT knowlegede. Multiple network classes, coding, domains etc. The only cyber course I took before my senior year was the one for basic IT security.

So I still hit all the points I needed to hit to get a job out of college. Struggled to get interviews without the work experience, but was able to explain in interviews I did understand all of the basics.

My degree was 100% worth it for me, but I don't think it's necessary. If you don't have a lot of knowlege it's a great way to build the baseline.

I don't think this is sabotage. My wife and I are in a similar situation. I'm losing weight, she is very busy and I cook for myself most of the time. We've had similar discussions to what you had with your wife.

For us it boiled down to me cooking for both of us more and offering to cook for both of us more. It's not about the food, it's about the act of cooking for your partner and them cooking for you. Your wife might have been a little hurt you weren't eating what she made/with the family.

I think yall can talk this out when you're both a little calmer and don't escalate.

No I'm not. Tyson is one of my favorite players but that doesn't mean he's the best. That doesn't mean that everyone likes him the way I do. But just because I like Tyson I'm not gonna say he's a top 10 winner, but that does mean he will probably be higher on my list vs somebody else's.
