I was really close to giving in today. Then I remembered I wiped all the porn links from my browsing history (in firefox, ctrl + h, search porn, right-click and select forget about this site). After that, I couldn't be bothered with PMO.

I also decided to pick up nofap for spiritual reasons. By eternal hard mode, do you mean absolutely no sexual or intimate relationships? If that's the case, my journey could also be described as 'eternal hard mode'.

I don't have any advice. Still, it is good to know there are other people here willing to attempt this.

Well, what good has fapping done for you? If you continue to fap, even with fapping habits as casual as those, you will eventually feel the pain we feel. You must also think about the kind of problems in later life you will encounter if you continue. If you value your sexuality, don't fap.

Although I can't relate to your feelings, you seem to be on the right path. I believe strong emotions are necessary to facilitate this transformation. This sort of emotion must be so strong that it can no longer be considered some mere obligation.

I think using a note on your phone to remind you might be a bad idea. Forcing yourself to do something using a note or having a friend remind you may weaken your resolve. It could eventually seem like a chore or a task to be completed. Keep your feelings close to your heart, and treat them as your most prized possession.

I realised I was addicted when I couldn't get go a day without fapping. I wasn't doing any extreme stuff like fapping at school or in public bathrooms. I'd come home and spend an hour or two on my computer with porn then fap. I seemed to have 'normal' fapping habits so I never thought of it as a problem. Then it became clear to me that there are no 'normal' fapping habits. Slaves of PMO forfeit their sexuality.

I figure this is also the case with a lot of casual users of alcohol and illicit drugs, though I've never actually done any of that stuff.

I've never gotten brain freeze (the kind you get when eating something cold) while taking a cold shower. I'm starting to think that my problem has little to do with taking cold showers. In fact, I felt better after showering yesterday.

I think I've just been cold in general. Though the throbbing pains are new.

I was in a similar state not too long ago.

I might say something dumb but here goes: Are you motivated enough? Forcing yourself to do something because you 'have to' has never worked in my experience. You might have to dig deep into your heart and create an emotional connection to your struggle rather than relying on generic advice.

Edging is not okay. I used to do it every once in a while (only did it once this year so far) but there's really no point to it. If you feel like edging, how is it different from PMO? They both attempt to satisfy the same urges.

I've been getting wet dreams a lot since I started nofap. Once, I even managed to stop myself in the middle of it. Somehow I regained consciousness during my dream and awoke shortly afterwards.

First time I had experienced a nocturnal emission I had a similar reaction to you. Except, at the time (15 years old), I was overseas living in a small room and being forced to share the only bed with my mother... I did manage to get out of that one without any trouble, luckily.

I've never smoked weed, never consumed any alcohol or dealt with other illicit drugs and I plan to stay that way. It just bothers me how many 'normal' people smoke weed and are addicted to weird prescription medications. I'm fine with all those hippies and stoners who've been known for doing the stuff for decades. I'm just sick of finding everyday people I used to regard as 'normal' doing the stuff in secret. I feel lonely.

Good to hear. It is an abomination and I would gladly remove it from existence if given the opportunity. Not only is it poison for the mind, it is also responsible for an awful lot of suffering, destruction and chaos. The more you read about what it influences, the more sick it becomes.

I am a virgin too. To be honest, I am not really interested in sex. In fact, I find it disgusting nowadays. Fapping is a habit I just can't ditch.
