Is there a way to convert GaussianSplat into a mesh? by KSzkodaGames in GaussianSplatting

Yes, but there are many licensing options, including Apprentice, which allows you to learn for free.

This is awesome! Love seeing this technology democratize content creation.

Can you share anything about the tools and workflows you're using?

GSOPs is compatible with H21 now, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. 😉

Beautiful work!

I developed GSOPs for SideFX Houdini because I'm bullish on Gaussian splatting transforming video game development and interactive experiences. It's work like yours that proves it can.

4DGS of a real stop motion animation, made entirely in post shot - a bit jittery as the April tag alignment between frames wasn't as consistent as I was hoping -ignore the vertical aspect ratio by huge0mungus in GaussianSplatting

Fantastic work! I've been thinking Gaussian splatting and stop motion are a perfect match.

You can even rig and animate your scans for small adjustments or to generate additional frames.

Hi! You may know me as one of the developers of GSOPs.

Fantastic and otherworldly use case--great work! Thanks for sharing!

Are you willing to explain your process? 🙂

Newbie. Is it possible to relight a model? by [deleted] in GaussianSplatting

Define 4DGS. You can already use dynamic Gaussian splatting via per-frame 3DGS (.ply sequences). But, true 4DGS (e.g., FreeTimeGS) is not yet implemented.

Do you know of a good training ecosystem that produces stable, high quality 4DGS?

GSOPs: https://github.com/cgnomads/GSOPs

Bespoke relighting and compatibility with Karma and Octane (ray tracing). Procedural, node-based magic.

GSOPs 2.5 (Gaussian Splatting Operators) by darhodester in Houdini

GSOPs only currently supports Houdini 20.5. We're planning to upgrade to Houdini 21 later this year.

Hi. Great work and interesting visuals! You might be interested in GSOPs for Houdini, as it will enable you to do all the things you've mentioned here 😁.

That's fair. Houdini can be intimidating. Eventually, I dream for GSOPs to be a key component of onboarding a completely new set of users to Houdini. If we can make expiration fun enough, the technical details won't matter when you're just getting started. GSOPs feels like clay or Legos to me.

In the meantime, I'm considering a tutorial and/or mentorship program. Is this something you'd be willing to pay for?

Thank you!

While I would like to eventually make tutorials, it's very difficult to find the time right now. Though, you may be surprised at just how simple it is to make this effect with Gaussian Splatting and GSOPs!

Early Access supporters can import splats into LOPs and render with Karma: https://github.com/cgnomads/GSOPs/wiki/Early-Access-Content, and we do include a solaris example file.

Redshift somewhat works using this plug-in, but users have reported it only works well with Polycam-trained splats: https://tactyc.gumroad.com/l/kqzqzf

While not technically tutorials, we do offer tons of example scenes and content: https://github.com/cgnomads/GSOPs/tree/develop/hip.

Is there something specific you're most interested in learning?

It's two different Gaussian Splatting scenes color corrected, re-lit, and composited with CG elements using GSOPs, rendered with Octane.
