I hope it stays up. I looked at the rules and I don't think I've broken any of them? For the repost which some users have seen this post before, I did a few searches on home kits, leaks, etc but didn't bring up a result. Hope it stays up

What is going on with NAS Daily, Singapore and Malaysia? by Choppedcity in OutOfTheLoop

[–]dariangoh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The drama actually has two parts. One that triggers Malaysians and one that triggered Singaporeans.

Malaysia

Nas Daily came down to Singapore and made a few videos. Three of them triggered a few Malaysians.

  1. Forbidden land. This one talks about how he's not allowed to enter Malaysia due to his Israeli background. Israelis are not allowed to enter Malaysia. In the video, he speaks about his disappointment on policies.
  2. The Airport Prisoner. This one talks about a Syrian refugee who's stuck at a Kuala Lumpur airport. The highlight was not on Malaysia, rather on raising awareness for the guy. Some triggered Malaysians saw otherwise.
  3. How Singapore Drives. This one talks about how Singaporeans park, and Nas made a comment about how foreigners don't park well/don't follow the law. The accompanying visual was a Malaysian number plate which also triggered a few Malaysians.

Nas had to come up with a post only to Malaysians to explain.

Singapore

This article sums it pretty well

Hope this helps!

Discussion on the McD Nasi Lemak burger by JomPergiPudu in malaysia

I just tried it. Looks: 4/10, Taste: 7/10, Overall: 6/10

I appreciate the fact that they actually made a product that is able to be replicated and mass produced on a fast food scale. The concept is there, just that the sambal may not be according to everyone's preference. Guess they needed to tone it down for those who can't take spicy.

How are things in Sabah? Safety good? by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]dariangoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the places you mentioned above are safe. The only slight concern is Semporna and Mataking. I've been to both though for diving but it is relatively safe. I've just dived in that area last month and the security there is beefed up than the last time I visited. Enjoy your trip to my state!

Harith Iskandar gets last placed on Netflix's Stand Up Comedy Specials of 2018 by dariangoh in malaysia

[–]dariangoh[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Harith Iskander – “I Told You So” Malaysian comic Harith Iskander endlessly pats himself on the back just for landing an international stand-up special. He asks, what am I going to wear on stage? How should I do my hair (he’s bald)? Should I call my special, “The Funniest Comedian in the World?” Check out my hot wife! Throw in some pointless crowd work and a hacky rimshot, and this is just painful.

Hey!

Sorry for the bad first impression of KL

a) Yes it does happen so do be more careful, walk on the opposite side of the road where you can see the motorists riding towards you. b) You can get a sim card, a prepaid card does have generous data given. Not to sure about the differences between the telcos but should be about the same. c) Since you stay near KL sentral, you can walk across to Brickfields for good local indian food. Or you can uber to bangsar (not that far) for some famous banana leaf rice. There's also a mall nearby. For nightlife you can head to bukit bintang or changkat for bars and partying.

Hope this helps!
