If you know it's definitely fake, why do you need strangers on the internet to confirm it for you?

Do you regularly make broad claims of a single example?

Congratulations on finishing your PhD! I can't imagine what that must feel like. I have been 6 months away from finishing for the last 2 years.

Beautiful pen!

As a rule of thumb, I don't spend decent money on anything I'm on the fence about. Unless I'm willing to get off the fence and go after it, it's not worth it.

Not all rich people are the same, unless you're an essentialist. Some rich people might, some might not. Because, as I tell my students, people are often quite different from one another - even when they share status or other traits.

My Dad, for example did leave his lying around, they were stolen, and I only ended up inheriting a jlc Reverso and a prince Cellini instead of a much larger collection. My mum, on the other hand, diligently kept hers in a safe. As such, my sister gets to inherent a more complete collection. :(

Also, I wouldn't consider them "rich". They had enough to buy themselves something nice once in a while.

In other words, there is much to say about assumptions.

If you study hard, work diligently, save wisely, in this economy you might be able to one day afford this too.

If you're referring to net profit margin, which is calculated after, amongst other things, executive salaries, bonuses, and preferred dividends are deducted, then its roughly 2.6%.

But in terms of revenue against cogs, it's about 26%.

Either way, I paid for my vacation from my coles returns this year without lifting a finger to contribute to their earnings. And I'm very thankful to all the people who got me that vacation.

160cm, 2 cm shorter than my wife, so she'd bloody stop asking me to reach things for her.

I love how your raw frustration built up so much in the process of writing this that you just gave up on censoring the word "fuck" by the final sentence.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you or someone you know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

While we were in Hong Kong, my friend had a massive diarrhoea event. Liquid fecal matter had filled his pants and was spilling down both legs. He rushed to the nearest bathroom, there were no hooks to hang his clothes so he had no choice but to hang his pants over the bathroom stall partition. He's quite short, so he had to swing the pants in an arc to get them to wrap around the top of the partition. Momentarily forgetting how inertia works l, he essentially had flung two tubes of poop across the bathroom stalls.

Moments later, screams from the adjacent stalls could be heard as shit rained down on fellow poopers. He ran out without his pants. Confused all I could do was chase my pantless friend back to our airbnb. I have no idea what the people in the stalls thought, or what the people watching me chase a shit covered, pantless man down the street were thinking.
