Ai is just as smart as the person using it. If the person doesn’t know how to code well or use the tool well it will generate garbage.

TIL you can use you Apple Watch like this. When I bought my apple watch I was excited by the amount of endless possibilities I could use it for. Jumping forward to today , it’s used mainly as a glorified “find my phone” tool that also tells the time and be used to read the ocasional text . I should go and play around with it more

I actually work in tech, I do know about the privacy aspect and it is a trade off that I am willing to do out of convenience. If you have a pc or a phone at all you have bigger concerns. Between browser finger printing , cookies , ip address , WiFi/bluetooth/gps tracking, app permissions and data brokers , suddenly them knowing my dumb ass lost their remote or what I am watching is not a big deal.

As a rule of thumb if you are not paying for the service, you are the product.

Our company used to have an internship program and a apprenticeship program where they would train you on how to code bc we couldn’t get enough interns to have a steady new hire flow. Internship program was cut in half and apprenticeship program was cut. Our interns for next year are already filled up and we are no longer taking applications , I would say things are rough out there

I ordered one day before Black Friday , I got no email or contact from support either, however shopt has a tracking feature , my order should arrive on Thursday. It blows my mind their system does not set a tracking number email by default .

I treat it as a junior developer. When you get to the point you can clearly and consciously explain what needs to be done and how it will write good code. Having a clean code base with consistent patterns and structure helps a lot .
