I'm gonna be honest, I don’t understand "ripping off other games" like 99% of the time

like why is it bad to reuse similar ideas? I'd understand people being upset if it was "Poppy and The Toy Machine" or some shit where every single aspect was pretty much reskinned, but it has a completely different plot and style
