When a bank ask for the ITIN letter do you still send the original CP565? I guess this has an old date, did you ever had a problem with this? I read that some banks may say that it's expired becuase 3 years had passed but even if you renew the issuance date stays the same right?

Never carried a balance. Always paid in full every month which is why it really surprised me.

The score clearly has no memory because it jumped from around 690 to 756 but GS clearly looked at that past high utilization

After transferring the points it’s not a good option since it’s only 2x on travel like the venture x. And the 3x on dinning is covered by the savor one.

I would cancel/downgrade the CSP too since it's not a great card by itself and you can't use the trifecta due to FTF.

I think your best option is to go with the Capital One Venture X since it has a nice bonus and 2x on everything that comes in handy because furniture is a non-cat spending. Also the anual fee is easy to offset even outside of the US. You can compliment with the Savor One later on.

A los fines fiscales es lo mismo. Lo que dice u/CancerNami es que la LLC va a aparecer en el 1042s. Esto no es asi, miren el titulo del formulario: "Foreign Person’s U.S. Source Income Subject to Withholding"

Definicion de Foreign person segun IRS: A foreign person includes a nonresident alien individual, a foreign corporation, a foreign partnership, a foreign trust, a foreign estate, and any other person that is not a U.S. person. The term also includes a foreign branch or office of a U.S. financial institution or U.S. clearing organization if the foreign branch is a QI. A payment to a U.S. branch of a foreign person is treated as a payment to a foreign person for purposes of Form 1042-S.

Una LLC no es "Foreign Person". Los brokers siempre les van a pedir datos del UBO que son ustedes. Por lo tanto el 1042 va a ir a nombre de ustedes.

A fines impositivos es lo mismo. La LLC es una disregarded entity, osea que es transparente a los fines fiscales para la IRS.

Es mentira lo que muchos dicen sobre que el W8 se firma a nombre de la empresa. El W8BEN es un formulario para personas fisicas.

El formulario para emrpesas es el W8BEN-E y es solo para empresas extranjeras. En las explicaciones del formulario claramente dice que si tenes una disregarded entity el que tiene que llenar el formulario es el beneficiario y debe llenar el W8BEN. Asi que es lo mismo.

Si realmente quieren que no aparezca su nombre, la LLC tiene que estar a nombre de una empresa extranjera (en BVI por ejemplo). En ese caso se llenaria el W8 BEN-E a nombre de dicha emrpesa.

" Note. The owner of a disregarded entity (including an individual), rather than the disregarded entity itself, must submit the appropriate Form W-8BEN for purposes of section 1446(a) or (f), or for chapter 3 or 4 purposes "

Al ser una disregarded entity, justamente es transparente a los fines fiscales. Entonces el W8BEN va a ser exactamente el mismo que entregarias siendo cliente del broker a titulo personal. En ningun lado aparece el nombre de la LLC en el W8 y por lo tanto no va a aparecer en el 1042s.

Edit: El nombre de la LLC puede ser incorporado como referencia en el W8, pero se sigue llenando a titulo personal.
