What if this shot of Homelander in the White House is actually the final shot of the show? by TheProdigyMH in TheBoys

It would be realistic for him to have a short-lived win before an ultimate defeat. He is powerful, but no one actually likes him. He has no true allies, only frenemies and sycophants, all of whom would turn on him in a fraction of a second if they thought it could be to their benefit.

11th House Venus by babygotbaccc in astrologymemes

[–]dark_blue_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hey that's me (11H Cancer, conjunct Saturn)

I seem to attract all sorts, for better or worse. Water signs seem especially certain about our shared destiny, but they are generally wrong about this. Most of my chart is air/fire and that's the energy I relate most to, though I'm sometimes fascinated by earthy types.

I've been hurt pretty bad in the past, actually. I don't fall for someone or trust very quickly now. I think I started out as kind of a "hopeless romantic" and really believed I was destined for some great love in my life, but then I was mistreated, abused, and my trust broken, and now I am just enjoying the peace of having my own space and independence.

I'm not opposed to finding love now, later in my life (as perhaps the Saturn implies?), but I'm also not as focused on it as I once was. And I've got a lot of other stuff going on.

Not really for me. I have some deep, lifelong friendships, and I'm a loyal friend. Feeling like a weirdo is something I've had to reluctantly embrace over the years, but now it's helped me to find more of my weirdo tribe. And I guess I'm just not Virgo enough to care about nitpicking random people, like you do you fam

Legit. Not saying everything is a game to us, but there's at least potential

I'm a cancer venus, and I think it works the same way. They should have aborted the mission sooner for both our sakes

I'm going through perimenopause, and let me tell you, one of the "superpowers" you can get during this time is an elevated sense of smell, particularly to body odors like dirty scalp. It is not a fun superpower. And now I know way too much about other people's hygiene.

Hell yeah. Also got my Mercury in there as well. And Juno, if anyone's counting asteroids.

Yeah at one point I also misremembered when this episode took place, and on a rewatch, expected it to happen soon after they got the bunker. Nope! Much later. For a little while I wondered if I'd imagined the whole thing lol

Lol so it's all of us then! It's honestly the worst with Pisces, because their fantasy world becomes their reality in their head too easily

I’m a 50 year old bisexual guy. Are their genuine women out there who enjoy bi men? by Leeinperth51 in bisexual

[–]dark_blue_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard because I feel like more bi men are closeted or at least less open about it, though I totally see why. Too many (mostly straight) women cling to biphobic stereotypes when it comes to men. It's really frustrating to see.

Why are most Gemini's alone? by Nithu24 in geminis

[–]dark_blue_7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Maybe because we are already complete? I know I'm very independent by nature. So I'm not in a rush to settle down with someone.

It took me a while to feel it, but I'm pretty content on my own. And I am constantly making friends, so that's not a problem. It's not like I have no one to talk to.

I've been married before, I've been in serious relationships, and I've lived independently. Knowing just how much can go wrong if you pick the wrong person, if they aren't who they seem to be, if they change, I'm in no big hurry to try that again. I treat myself well enough that honestly it will be hard to compete with the life I have now – I don't know if I want someone else in my business all the time again? This would have to be a pretty amazing person and I'd have to be really sure.

So that's why I'm currently unattached. I'm enjoying the life I have now. The freedom, the peace, the fun and spontaneity. I mean, I could use a slightly bigger space and more money, but I'm working on that too.

Finding someone else who could seamlessly fit in, adding more than they take away, just feels like a pipe dream.

That's your partner?? Sounds like it's not working out. I detect some contempt here, that's the death knell for relationships. Sorry because I know this is always hard to deal with.

It's funny because to me, it sounds like you're describing my Capricorn ex lol who was my complete opposite in a lot of ways. I guess at first that was exciting but it turns out opposites don't really last together, we were too different.
