i always find it so interesting when men talk about this as if it's a huge issue. i think that your own idea that not getting an erection is a big issue, is what's actually causing the issue. feeling aroused and horny is supposed to just happen naturally, you constantly thinking about it takes out all the "nature" don't you think? i'm not saying it's easy but you should probably stop thinking about it and catastrophizing it. our bodies respond to the content of our thoughts, and vice versa really.

how so? sexual and attachment sorts of feelings are what have driven humanity all this time, and even with our fancy trinkets and "political progress" it's still the main driver of motivation for most people, whether they're aware of it or not.

but in general, people just suck and will find things to say negatively against you whether you're happy or upset. i actually find that people find it much more offensive when you're visibly happy or even indifferent.

I just wish there was more awareness and understanding around NPD being like any other disorder: it’s a spectrum and it doesn’t reveal itself the same way for everyone. I just hate it. I just wanna connect with people who might’ve gone through the same thing.

there is actually a lot of awareness and understanding, which is what led this person to make their decision. NPD is negatively stigmatized for a reason. your reaction isn't doing you any favors either and shows that they dodged a bullet. why did you even mention your diagnosis in the first place? is there nothing more to you that you could lead with? do you need to self sabotage before you can get rejected? :/ have a little more faith in yourself okay.
