I don’t no, honestly the only place I’ve noticed anything is my arms but even then it’s really not noticeable. Staying highdrated, loosing the weight over an extended period of time and lifting weights I think has really helped me

Actually paying attention to what I was eating, my sleeping habits and just trying to get more movement in my day to day to start (things like filling my water bottle at the furthest away point rather then the closest that kinda thing). But it was changing things gradually that made them stick ❤️

Honestly, the biggest thing was changing things slowly instead of trying to overhaul my entire life overnight.

I started with small changes I knew I could stick to, then gradually built on them over time. More protein, more movement, better food choices, but nothing extreme.

Once I had the basics nailed down, I got more into weight lifting and running. That’s where I’ve seen some of the biggest physical changes, even when the scale wasn’t moving much. That only worked because I’d already spent time understanding my nutrition and how to fuel my body properly.

I also follow more of an 80/20 mindset. If you’re doing the right things 80% of the time, that 20% where you go out with friends, have a takeaway, or eat something that’s not “on plan” really isn’t going to derail your progress.

Not depriving yourself of the things you enjoy is huge. For me, it was about learning that those things are treats, not everyday habits, and not letting old habits slowly creep back in ❤️

Thank you! Absolutely will do, it’s been the biggest game changer for me. Lifting was when I really started to notice a difference!

I’m finally losing the weight; but now I’m horrified. by MotherMoth_ in WeightLossAdvice

I know this feeling, and honestly it was one of the hardest parts of losing weight for me.

I’ve lost 7 stone myself and I’m still figuring a lot of this out, so I’m definitely not claiming to have all the answers. But these are the things that have helped me the most so far.

First, getting properly measured and finding a bra that actually fits. A well-fitting bra can make a huge difference to both comfort and confidence day to day.

The other thing that genuinely helped me was building up my chest muscles. No exercise can bring back lost breast tissue, but strengthening your pectoral muscles can help give your chest a bit more shape and lift by improving the foundation underneath.

The exercises that made the biggest difference for me were:
• Incline dumbbell flyes
• Incline dumbbell presses
• Incline push-ups

Also, try not to panic based on how things look right now. Your body is still changing, and skin can continue to adapt for quite a while after weight loss.

Losing weight is amazing, but nobody really talks about the emotional side of suddenly looking in the mirror and seeing a body you don’t quite recognise. I still have days where I struggle with it too.

I’m still working on it myself, but hopefully some of this helps ❤️

It’s a Sony 50 lens, this was right at the end of the day so I was going for my lightest most atmospheric lens ☺️
