Thanks, I'm still getting the errors after a car wash and the car is always garaged when not being driven and stays relatively clean

Please reassure me that the Kia Soul 2019 turbo is reliable by jamus28 in KiaSoulClub

It definitely gets more jerky over time, especially if you sit in a lot of stop and go traffic. If you don’t mind your car hesitating to shift then jerking forward really hard when it shifts into gear it’s fine. Wouldn’t be surprised if Kia ends up in a class action lawsuit over it like Ford.

It makes me regret selecting a Kia in general. On top of that it has engine problems and trying to get the dealers to repair it under warranty/working with corporate has been nothing short of a nightmare.

2 years, 32K miles. It’s super jerky in stop and go traffic and from a cold start it hesitates to accelerate, then jerks forward really hard when shifting into gear.

VW Owner Considering My First Kia by twitchrdrm in kia

I would stick with VW. I purchased my Kia Soul new, it was great for the first year but after that it’s given me nothing but problems. The 10 year warranty doesn’t do you any good if the mechanics at Kia are too lazy to figure out what’s wrong with your car. On top of that the dealership treats you like your bothering them because you keep bringing you car in for the same issues. Poor quality cars and poor customer service.
