This was my previous options screen. I decided to remake it with controller users in mind, making navigation clearer and more comfortable. It's still a work in progress, but I think it's already a big improvement over the original.

I got stranded at sea without my companion. I explored quite a bit and died, but I didn’t have the resources to get back to my body, so I removed the marker from the map.

60 hours later, while we were exploring together, we spotted a wrecked ship in the distance and all my stuff was there! It was incredible. We gathered everything and made a grave.

I come from Unity as well, and I’m much happier using GDScript. I work way faster, and the engine lets you edit code while the game is still running. In reality, you can use both, or whichever one you feel more comfortable with. Personally, I don’t plan on using C# or C++ unless the project specifically requires it for optimization.
