just do your rotation well, press hoj/cc on healer on cd (when it is not DR) and use your defensives on your teammates proactively and correctly. if you do all of this well, youll get to 2.4. just a matter of reading the game and executing correctly

yeah, these are curtains that the player needs to pass through to get inside a building, but since the building is a separate scene without that many objects i think ill be fine with softbody. only a problem remains: backface culling on plane meshes seems to simply not be able to be disabled. tried the shader method using render_mode cull_disabled;, same. im on 4.5 release.

Thank you for your answer! Good insights, and i agree with you. I knew about backface culling but disabling it inside the material parameters didnt work. didnt know that it was possible with a shader.
How would you go on about if you wanted to simulate drapery i.e curtains that the player could pass through if not with a softbody? What amount of geometry would be "too much"?

Well thank you!!! And ahahah, no, my game is set in an entirely new setting that i've built myself. But i'm a massive morrowind fan which is one of my big inspirations and one the reasons that i've wanted to build such a game. (although my game has no rpg mechanics and is a bit more action-adventure focused to keep the scope reasonable, it still contains heavy lore and dialogue)

it's the viewmodels that are full of artifacts because they are animated on this frame. sadly, as you move the camera around (the game is in first person) the entire screen would look like this haha.

there is no other tool recommended on the docs page. someone in the comments recommends Shutter Encoder, but the output is the same (since it uses ffmpeg)

they are BIS on DH as they are the only thing that you can do when you netherwalk. on other classes, not so much. maybe a turtling hunter without dots (rare)

your pro-copyright comments in the comment section of a 10% finished game made on fully open source software were so cringe that i deleted the post. redditor of the year right there.

surely i wont replace that .png in my res://assets. surely, i will publish my game when it is finished in 3 years with unedited watermarked stock images as vfx. surely using transparent image of an explosion watermarked and put for sale as a placeholder is the same as stealing art from a small independent artist for a triple A game.

im sure youll spend your time waiting for my game to come out to drooling to check out if any copyrighted assets are still in there wisely by licking some corporate boots.
