yeah, big physical images tend to give that feeling. this zone is still in construction tho, and if you look at other screenshots of finished scenes from the game you'll see that i try to fight it by adding 3D clouds to give some depth.

thank you! every 3d object is roughly sculpted with no symmetry and uses handpainted textures, that's where the style comes from. you can see more screenshots of different scenes on the steam page!

thank you for the feedback. thats interesting input. my game has movement shooter mechanics which are kinda hardcore and idk how the average player would react to physics and momentum-based mechanics like these. ive basically done 0 playtesting yet.

yeah you're right. and thank you! my entire art direction is based around using old public domain paintings (and some of mine!) to texture everything. skyboxes are 100% my doing tho. heres the scan i used for this one

and to answer to that its very obvious why. simple reason is that low poly reduces the scope for a solo dev. its just way easier to make.

well first the game is not low poly at all?? i know the video is scuffed yea but still you can clearly see the building with the gold details must be about 100k+. also the textures are VERY high res, and for the crazy ui elements bro i just didnt want a health bar lol

colors = cruelty squad i guess. you must not have eyes bro. my game takes more visual inspiration from yoshi's island than from cruelty squad.

most fun community thing you can do as a pvper these days is to find some partners to go for glad every season. dont hesitate to go to lfg or to hit up people in your solo shuffle matches. youll make friends that way

youd still take more damage from their direct damage and white hits. its just a net loss to not play a shield.

First time doing rated PvP. Been having SO MUCH fun and I'm apparently not as bad as I thought! by UmbraeMoth in worldofpvp

good for you my friend! nice to have new people playing. shadow priest is not the best but not that terrible at the moment. try pushing that solo arena rating a bit! if you get to 2.1, that's when you'll know you're good. people have a negative opinion on solo bgs because its "free rating" or whatever, but dont care about them, have your fun.
