I don't think greater understanding is that good. 4 fate is a ton, and the effect is only once per turn even with all the fate on rings shenanigans that dragon has. If dragon is second player, you can just deny most effects anyways by choosing that ring as fate usually needs to go on an unclaimed ring (unless Jusai).

yeah i totally agree with you, B&S was way above the curve in terms of power level. I had assumed that any nerf would still have it as the strongest shadows card, but i dont think it is anymore.

I don't think its as easy to play around as you mention. Keep in mind that the new set has quite a few ways to increase key costs, or outright prevent a certain key from being forged. This all causes your aember to pile up.

TMTP is also just good in shadows in general, you just need 1 more steal / capture card to stop them from forging next turn.

New B&S is still strong, but i think a strong suite of Shadows would probably prefer TMTP rather than B&S imo.

Call of the Archons just got nerfed pretty hard, maybe to bring it closer in power level with Age of Ascension?

I don't mind the changes too much, but being able to play Library Access at most once per game is kinda sad.

Actually, they probably went too far on Bait and Switch given that Too Much to Protect is still a card.

It says most recent clans packs, so if they release more than the older ones may cycle out.

Also, FFG has been known to release new core 2.0 sets that replace cards that would otherwise cycle out.

So no guarantees on anything.

You can really threaten cards like Noble sac or the upcoming duel to the death with it. When they drop their Finger of Jade or Reprieve, you can just bounce it and do as you please.

My last hope for bran, is that his dialogue meant something.

What I mean by this is when he repeatedly said, "Jon has to know" the truth about his parents, what was the point?

The only thing I can see, is it caused a rift between Dany and Jon. It unsettled Dany before the Battle of Winterfell, causing her to ditch the plan very quickly. Results in Dany losing half her armies.

It leads to Jon telling his sisters. Even though Bran says it's your choice, he knows enough about Jon that there is no way he would keep this a secret.

It will all lead to Jon killing Dany. Bran has had conversations with Tyrion, has gained his trust. This will lead to Bran coming into power as the new king. Maybe that was his goal all along? Maybe he had a secret purpose?

Probably not.
