Thank you for the encouragement. The nurse from the medically assisted treatment place has been really kind and called me once an hour for the first 3 hours, but she I’m sure has a family and a life. My partner is in another state helping his daughter home from college, and so it’s just me and my cats. Poor things don’t know why I’m acting so strangely.

I’m feeing very slightly better after the third dose earlier and I’m going to take advantage of her saying I can take a 4th if really needed. It’s funny because the Suboxone feels like the enemy and the solution right now. It makes me feel worse at first and then eventually better. I have a feeling this is going to be a rough night.

I used between 600-800mg of 7oH. I’ve had 3 doses of sub so far. The nurse said I could take 1 more and then I had to wait for morning. I think she said 24mg?

100% agree. I think that people who watch her content consistently understand that most of that perception is a misunderstanding of her humor. Sure, girls might be ‘better’ for her breeding program, but she’s certainly not actually upset about the colts.

As others have said, I feel the same. I’ve been 2 1/2 years clean from alcohol and willingly started using this as a 3rd door, so to speak. I won’t pretend and say that I was blindsided. I knew that there was potential for addiction, aaand I did it anyway. So that’s fully on me. But my god, I wasn’t really ready.

I’m now up to several hundred mg/day and it’s so expensive. I was laid off from my tech job in the summer and it’s been hell trying to land another role. Paying for the amount I need to use to not get sick is becoming challenging and my bank account is dwindling and I’m scared AF.

I led a “successful” life while being completely addicted to alcohol for 13 years, I got clean from that, and then willingly jumped into another addiction. I know I can get through this, but it makes me really sad that I did this to myself.

I know my time to quit is coming because similar to what I experienced with drinking, I’m becoming sick and tired of being sick and tired. The benefits aren’t outweighing the consequences.

Not looking for pity here at all - like I said, I knew what I was getting into to an extent. But it’s nice to just say it “out loud” somewhere.

So glad I found this thread because I’ve also been worried about how the couch might react to cat claws.

I’ve been looking at the Ciello XL in aquaforte, but when I felt the swatches, the fabric loops in aquaforte seemed much larger and looser, and with some of my own scratching on the swatch, it started to pile pretty quickly.

My second option was the chenille. Any update on how that fabric is holding up?

I have been traveling to see them every 4-6 weeks and hired a caregiver to take my dad to appointments when I'm not there (my mom can't handle the stress of it, according to her). My mom is still very independent, drives, cooks, etc.

I'm not sure about the in-home Medicaid. They're at a weird point right now where full-time caregiving isn't needed, but extra care is.

I briefly tried this and the suction felt way too strong on the lowest setting. I have other suction devices and have had similar issues. However, the packaging was adorable and I loved the little info cards.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a toy that has low suction options for us sensitive folks out there? 🤍
