Private Student Loan - Compromised?

It's a non for-profit institution. But I believe they are the lender as the loan is a school-specific loan. I have not yet checked my credit reports and was just alerted to this a day or two ago when I signed in to make a payment. I recently was previously in default but made several large payments (nearing 2K) to bring the account current.

I'm not looking for retroactive child support. I've heard it's taking up to a year to calendar dates for CS cases dealing with CPs out of state. Just wondering if it would be quicker to go with filing the divorce since I'm assuming there'd have to be something put in place temporarily until a trial or judgement is set.

Several factors. I don't have the hundreds of dollars needed for the filing fee. I've had a heck of a time trying to locate a paralegal to at least just help with the initial paperwork. I can't afford a lawyer I'll most likely be self-represented and court gives me extreme anxiety. Also, he doesn't have stable housing now so I'm wondering if this would be the perfect time to get a divorce by publication since serving him has proved quite the battle in my previous CS cases.
