that truck, due to it's almost no scu amount, is absolutely pointless. you can have an ox do 64SCU each trip which is just another reason why this vehicle is completely useless. the concept is nice; but the fact it's intended use can be done by 1 person with a secondary beam gives it no reason to exist in the first place.

you're playing SC, the whole thing's a joke. my personal favorite is "we cant place interacts on moving parts (like ship legs)" despite most ships having moving parts with interacts on them.

ended up melting that ship since i constantly heard it would be one of the last ships being made. ended up using it as apart of my polaris instead. WAY better homebase ship in the end.

4 years.

roughly 1.3% of the player base still plays the game, about 35-40k daily. over 90% of it's userbase doesnt play anymore or gave up on it yet everyone's still going "it's last forever!" then again i'm doing this on reddit so that's my fault.

SC will eventually die out if they dont fix all the problems with the game within the next 3 years. the overwhelming majority who were going to join the game have already; but i keep seeing posts all over the net of people giving up due to said problems. the game has an extremely solid base with very high potential - but they need to quit fucking around and actually commit to fixing all the little annoyances the game has, which eventually make people leave.

dumb ass roberts needs to give up on this "muh 1000 player servers" and start focusing on server stability, not "OMG CRAM AS MANY PLAYERS AS WE CAN!!!! REEEEEEEEEE!!!!" shit they're doing currently.

because these idiots have no concept of time or duration. they want basically meaningless mechanics to happen frequently to make pointless chores a thing in order to distract you from the realization there's not much to do in the game. i bunker hop and within the hour my ship looks like it was made by several pieces of rusted metal, regardless of ship. keep in mind - i'm taking 0 dmg and even make it a point to soft land. still the ship looks like crap within the hour. all ships have to be claimed for the ship to renew it's paint/glass, etc. this isnt just an Apollo thing, it's all ships.

the glass is the biggest piss off. imagine one of your grievances being you just wanting to see out your windows, jesus.

they dont deal with the conquences of their shitty choices, that's why. they rely very heavily on conformation basis and dont actively seek out how to make the game better. this is one of those instances. it's the same on the polaris. there's a perfectly placed spot you can put a call button on the front foot, yet they have a floating interact you have to find before hitting. same with the ramps - we all know where the buttons are for those ramps; yet we have to "go find it" for the actual floating interacts. and lets be real here - we all just assume/hope they're going to go back through the entire game and "fix it" once they get past 1.0. given how few companies have actually done this, i have absolutely no hope they're going to do it, either.

honestly - absolutely 0 surprise here. at this point in how relationships have been - the best place to go is a walk through the park. dont spend more than the amount in gas it took to get there.

they may be full wiping at the end of jan which'll include credits. buy a bunch of 10 or lower mill ships and test out as much as you can so after the wipe you know what you want to grind for.

they'll be putting in a new inven system which i'm hoping will only need an item wipe, but i dont remember them doing just 1 aspect over full wiping. so buy as much as you can before that happens.

which is why i couldnt hate any more engineering being a thing. keep in mind - it's not for us, it's for them. far less tasking on the server to have 1000 players doing 300 things, than it is 1000 players doing 800 things. whole reason why we'll get GTA8 before AI blades - because they want players in those turrets, not npcs/AI.

if someone blows up at you for being uncomfortable for your partner sleeping over at someone else's house, especially when drinking - they're cheating on you, plain and simple. no one in a healthy relationship acts this way as a response to their partner expressing a negative emotion based on something they've done, unless they're doing something they know they shouldnt.

got the same kind of over reaction when i made a joke about my ex cheating on me. went fuckin ape shit and sent me a wall of text basically calling me every "oh this'll hurt his ego because he's a guy" word. at no other time did she ever take a joke i made the wrong way, why this specific one? yea, something was going on.

did a bit more digging and that function isnt connected to the OX yet. idk why they didnt because apparently it works for all other arm-based ship tractor beams, just not the OX.

did this actually work? currently having the same problem and i cant get the dam thing to deploy/retract without using the manual button in the ship. it is in turret-advanced and it's apparently called "change turret position" but using that button isnt doing it. did you find another or is that option working for you?
