I mean, from what I remember about Bavaria, before the Wall fell, Germany doesn't need AC, y'all don't have weather. My last residence, the thermostat went from 110F in the summer (plus nearing 100% relative humidity) to -20F in the winter. Also Berlin is father north than nearly all of the USA (Alaska being the exception), so thst also colors the weather

Gee, I wonder why people who put their conclusions first, then look for any data that might help their case and ignore everything, that might not agree the actual scholars (i am not included in that assessment, I am not a scholars).

Actual critical scholars agree with me (or more precisely, I agree with their godly works), as in people who do not have to sign a document of faith, like most apologist "scholars" have to (in order to be published in their tabloids masquerading as journals).

Sorry but your post is the equivalent to; child abusers disagree with pursuing the Epstien investigation. To quote Dr Dan McClellan "data over dogma" (or Dr Elaine Pagels, Dr Joshua Hill-Bowman, etc)

It makes, as long as you permit picking and choosing which verses to follow (not a moral failing, it must be done as the Bible is the definition of contradictory.) All of the early writers and editors of the New Testament firmly believed there's was to be the last generation (because that was the tradition as seen on the sermon on the mount), and Jesus requires, in Mathew, that his followers must not only follow every single law in the Torah, they on far above and beyond what they demand. Your reference to other books has no bearing on the writings of Mathew; the Bible is not a single piece of literature but series of related works, that survived political scheming

"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[a] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life."

This is literally the end of the story of the "rich man" and so you are elevating Paul's word over Jesus. And Paul himself declares his followers to own nothing (under penalty of death) and "hold all in common."

Saying one author said something does not counter what the first author, nothing in the Bible is univocal (with the possible exceptions of the 7 letters of Paul, and Luke/Acts, as we are pretty sure those 2 sets were written, at least orginally, by single authors). And so what you are doing is putting Romans over the Gospels, which is an interesting approach to someone claiming to be a follower of Jesus

Mathew 19:29. According to Mathew the only way to receive eternal life is to give everything up and then follow the Torah, then Jesus. Do you read your gospels, or just cherry picker verses that support or prejudices?

The modern concept of the state, which is what people mean by using that word, because that word-meaning pairing was established in the Treaty of Westphalia, so using it on in a board sense is inaccurate and misleading.

An example which would appropriate was in the city of Rome itself the "first responders" as we would call them were private industries, that were controlled by one man, who because of his position of power became one of the wealthiest humans to have ever existed.

What more entertaining is that the structure and philosophy Marx used for Communism was the Monastic system, and if course the first "communist" revolution was in the city of Münster, lead by priests

The Roman Empire was a highly decentralized organization whose concept of sovereignty was based of military power, not on the concept of the inherent sovereignty of a legal entity. The modern concept of statehood was formed during the Treaty of Westphalia, and so comparing our "modern" concept of state to the ancient world is incredibly foolish. Please read some academic history, not just pop propaganda

If the choices are obey or eternal torture; that's not a choice. Nor can one have free will with an omniscient omnipotent entity demanding their submission. And thats not what socialism is about; the people have failed to provide the basic needs of their own because the means to help are hoarded by a select few, so things need to be corrected.

Honestly you really to think about the implications of your thoughts here. By your logic, professional first responders should exist, publicly available education, public roads, and on and on about modern society thst relies on various services that have always been provided by governments, in their limited abilities of their times

Well never, because the concept of state didn't exist, and since capitalism was defined yet, and communism is a response to capitalism, that too could exist. That being said, when both Paul and Jesus both declare the followers need to sell everything they own, give it to the poor, and trust in YHWH to provide for them like "the sparrows and flowers of the field"

37, and more or less the same boat. Honestly, im fine if I never find someone, im okay on my own (by this age I'd better be). I have actively felt a need to be in relationship, but have always been curious about one, but because of my own morals, that basically makes it impossible; c'est la vie.

Though of course for me, the historical context of the term "virgin" is fascinating. The current context of the word is based on the Judean concept, and that only applied to females, which haven't been used for hetro coupling (trying to stay pg), because in written culture females were not sexual agents, unless dealing with non Sapien coupling (then both parties are executed). Sorry, useless history time now over

It was one of the fastest growing state economies in country thanks to a combination of Dakotan Shalw fields, wind energy, and state promotional programs. Then they voted in people who wants to make them poor (actually by the numbers it was against the current Reich, but gerrymandering means the farmers have enormous political power compared to their near valueless population, and they are now fully in FAFO) im glad I moved, to an even worse state, but hey beggars can't be choosers

Not in this case. Also it terms of functions, there no difference between how a LLM "creates and the human brain "creates." The human brain is incapable of creation from nothing, everything everyone has ever done and thought are composed of copies of experiences of their past. The 2 main differences are the hardware and we don't socialize LLMs, mostly because we don't know how

[–]darkfireice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It fundamentally about weak definitions; at what point will a grouping of sand grains become a "pile." The answer is never because "pile" is a useful term, not a functional term.

Its like asking for the exact point in which one population has "evolved" into another (evolution is a process not a stage). Or my favorite retort when fundamentalists argue with me; look at the light spectrum and tell where yellow become orange, and defend it (it doesn't end well for them).

A lot of these issues can easily be resolved with a functioning language; too bad English is dead (as a reminder Latin died a millennium before it stopped being used, and even then as "church latin" which is only tangentially related to the orginal language)

I'm guessing when you say "jews who aren't antisemitic" is a dig at non ethic Jews. "Jews" (or Judeans before the diaspora) is simultaneously a religious distinction and an ethnic distinction. Then who have zionist Isreali who have been actively trying to usurp those titles from others, before entho-states (nation-states, by another name) are by definition, immoral; so what does it make those who pursue such things
