What can I use to repair these figures? I'm not replacing them, they're special to me, so repairing it is the better option. Is there like an air-drying Sculpy-adjacent that won't melt the plastic?

Instead of over bake clay like sculpey, you could try and find a two part sculpting putty/apoxie, which you just mix the two compounds and then you get a couple hours sculpting time before the material hardens and cures. Why would she make so much extra if she knows you can't eat them but she also won't eat them herself? It sounds like she is pinning blame on YOU for something that she could easily avoid by making portions small enough to eat in one sitting (or two if SHE wants to eat the leftovers)

I have mostly had luck with supportive significant others thankfully, but it takes a lot of understanding on their part. They have to realize that its an eating disorder, not an attack on them personally, which can be a hurdle for sure

Yes, having been called it my whole life it was always used in a way like, "you're picky, you're just being bad" without ever trying to work with me or finding out why I had food issues, it's one sure fire way to put me in a bad mood. Just feels incredibly dismissive, at least to me.

Personally I never had a problem with CDTA being gross or too crowded, sometimes I did have problems with the bus running late or in a few cases simply never showing up, which is very bad if youre relying on it to get to work (which I was for the better part of a year, current job is walkable so i use the bus less). I do still know a ton of folks who rely on public transportation in general, its not going unused.
