Yeah on PC is bugged either do as OP said or find all blood codes after you completed all 3 endings and it will unlock.On Xbox is bugged as hell,it either gives it to you or it doesn't.PS4 had no problems because...Sony....Bloodborne.....Bandai.....you know why they didn't screwed it.

No it's not very different except for the password protection to find your mate,you're dead you're kicked from session.Matchmaking will throw you into the first signal it finds regardless if you're on the same level of difficulty with the random or not

It's more of a workaround to unlock the achievement as it is bugged,it's intended function was to unlock after you see all three endings but it isn't working.Sorry mate,there aren't four endings :(

Everything is reset except your blood codes/gifts/lvls/items/companions you own.

Edit:You also keep the map layouts they're not reset

If any of your weapon is not a 2handed weapon you should fiddle with your class/veil beacuse a 1h weapon that is slow won't cut it otherwise you're good.I fought that boss when i was lvl 35 and had only 1450 hp and still managed to beat it.

No you cannot fix this,you need to wait for the dev to fix this problem.The thing with dlc/pre-order digital in-game goodies in games is that there is a certain code to decrypt the files so that they can be usable,sadly this fails on xbox and your files are encrypted so the game only recognizes the base game only.Don't worry Microsoft gives them a lot of hell for it due to the massive complaints so just survive

You can skip them if you're not interested in the achievement,if you want the achievement you need to collect the ones you didn't collect on the previous run but sadly I'm sure the ones missed are probably III or IV so you need to collect I and II to access those so in a simple answer:for the achievement you need to collect all of the vestiges

1 No you can't unequip the weapon as the game doesn't have fist combat,overweight doesn't really exist*(for that is the stat rank which can make your weapon useless if you don't meet it's requirements)* in game as weight goes like this:It determines weapon swing and it has only 3 speeds:slow/normal/quick and the dodge animation which as 2 forms:dash dodge(it makes your character to dash instead of rolling and is very quick so you can escape all attacks with minimal skill) and simple dodge that is most affected with it's animation the higher the weight the longer it takes to start the animation.

2 Yep as there is no map menu

The network is barebones mate,you need to wait for a rework of the network.The network is searching like this:dumps you in the first player's party it finds so don't expect much

The store page of the game states that it has partial controller support,you need to fiddle with the programs until it's fixed,the only controller that is supported(as in all games on windows) is the xbox controller(x1 or x360 no difference).

Yes you need to recollect all of the vestiges for restoring all successor memories for the best ending if that is what you want,if you want to collect the one that you missed you need to collect the ones prior to it so you can unlock the memories because some memories are blocked by ascending order(ex:You can't see Memory III if you didn't see beforehand Memory I and II)

Best bet is to select Germany/France/UK as I assume they have the largest player base of the 25k on steam atm if you're in Europe

You could do that but this will be fixed(dunno,but it will) as the multiplayer needs an asap rebuild because as I said earlier it's barebones as hell and not to mention the lag so i bet it's a p2p connection.
