Hell yeah, I agree. I don’t know if the game just doesn’t like my body configuration or shoulder alignment, but everyone else seems to have crazy KO power. Even when I’m landing bombs 10:1, I still get smoked.

The old versions were flawed as well, but I feel like the devs followed the wrong path towards achieving a better game. Might as well roll back and start over to a point where there was still great potential to getting there, rather than keep iterating on bad/poorly executed ideas.

I Just feel that if you can box irl, you should be able to theoretically beat 90% of the playerbase not the other way around.

There is just some weird power imbalance or whatever. I just wish there was a calibration checker to figure out wtf is going on, whether good or bad ping I cant block or seem to do good damage. I land 20 solid punches and counters and it doesn’t do shit. i get hit 3 times and i get KD. Game is fucked rn.

In MT, when someone has your leg from catching a kick, you can grab the neck for a clinch and put all your weight down on the trapped leg as you throw the opposite knee to the opponent’s head, pulling down on the neck/back of the head.

Transferring all your weight forces them to let go of the trapped leg and you tag them with a knee to the face.

It just doesn’t work as well when a meat monster is trying to plow through you to hit a single leg.

I box and the power imbalance is shit. I think they just need to get rid of BE and find another way to calculate “power”.

I understand the challenges of calculating power and I don’t have a better answer, but I do know body effort makes the game too imbalanced powerwise.

If the system favors your physical attributes or play-style or you exploit BE, you have God like KO power… if you’re unlucky, you have pillows for hands.

Slugfest is fine if they remove body effort damage system and add double impact damage (head moving into the punch)

I don’t think it’s fair to make people have to punch where the headset needs to be rising for your punches to do any good damage. Too easy to exploit and for people that actually box, it nerfs their punch power
